What does it feel like to be 40, 50,or 60 years old? Is there a way of being or a marker that indicates how you should feel or act at this age?

Of course not, because age is all in your mind. It's basically a perception, perhaps a value system. We all know people who look and act older than their chronological age. Why is that so? Because they have lost the enthusiasm, the excitement and exhilaration of their youth - which kept them young and carefree.

I like to think of this as finding the WOW Factor.

Remember saying, "Wow, look at the butterfly." "WOW, look at the sunset." "WOW, such an adorable puppy." "Isn't life wonderful!" Every time you WOW something, you enliven your spirit and your body responds with energy and delight.

I go to gym and regularly see a 90 year old woman walking the treadmill and pumping weights. She says her gym workout is as important as going to the doctor -- it is essential that she keeps her commitment to both. She requires her car service to pick her up at the nursing home, on time, as they would any other appointment. She tells me the workout keeps her young and alive and her mind sharp and vital.

Isn't this what 90 years old should feel like?

So, how do you feel? Are you sometimes silly, reckless, carefree and receptive to living your life any way you want to? Obviously, you can and should keep yourself active, involved and open to the wonders life has to offer. Feel the WOW factor.

This is what it feels like to be 40,50 and 60 years old!
